Twomey Law Office, PLLC is committed to protecting the confidentiality of the non-public personal and financial information (“NPI”) that is provided to us so that we can deliver the high quality of service that you expect and deserve.
In keeping with this commitment and the requirements of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Twomey Law Office, PLLC has processes in place to protect the privacy of NPI that we obtain in conjunction with providing your real estate settlement services.
“Non-public personal information” is defined as any information that is not generally made lawfully available to the public or information an individual can limit access to or not share with the public. It includes but is not limited to the following:

(2) your bank account numbers, payment history, loan balances, and credit card statements; and
(3) your court records. The types of NPI that we may collect include:
Information we receive from you on applications, forms, or other communications with us, whether in writing, in person, by telephone, or by other means.
Information about your transaction with us, our affiliated companies, or others.
Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency; and
Information we receive from others involved in your transaction, such as real estate agents, lenders, brokers, etc.
We may disclose any of the above information that we collect about you to our affiliates or nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by law or as necessary for us to provide the product or service as you have requested or authorized. Such information may be disclosed for the following reasons:
For our everyday business purposes and for our affiliates’ business purposes, which you have requested or authorized, including but not limited to, disclosure to financial service providers, companies engaged in consumer finance and insurance, banks, credit unions, savings and loan associations, and other banking institutions, title insurers, property and casualty insurers, trust and investment advisory companies, or companies involved in real estate services, such as appraisal companies, home warranty companies, or escrow companies, and non-financial companies that provide services like data processing and servicing of our accounts.
For complying with federal, state, or local laws.
Except as authorized by law and as provided above, we do not disclose or sell any NPI about you with anyone for any purpose.
We may also store such information indefinitely, including the period after which any customer relationship has ceased. Such information may be used for any internal purpose, such as quality control efforts or customer analysis.
We restrict access to NPI about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your NPI.
Although federal and state law gives you the right to limit sharing of NPI in certain circumstances (i.e., opt out), Twomey Law Office, PLLC does not share your personal information in those instances.
